Do I need a reservation?

Same-day reservations are welcome at both locations. Please check availability and make a reservation through the relevant TableCheck page:

Some courses or ingredients may not be available for same-day reservations. If you have a particular course or ingredients in mind, we recommend booking in advance.

Can I make a reservation on the same day?

Yes. Both UEHARA and HACHIMAN accept same-day reservations. However, depending on the course and that day’s ingredients, we may not be able to prepare everything on the same day. If you have a particular dish or course in mind, we recommend booking at least one day in advance. Advance reservations are especially recommended for UEHARA.

What should I do if I’m running late?

Please contact the restaurant in advance if you will be more than 10 minutes late. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contacting us, your reservation may be treated as canceled and a cancellation fee may apply.

What is your cancellation policy?

We have a cancellation policy for cancellations and changes to the number of guests. Please check the cancellation terms shown when you make your reservation.

Can I book a private dining experience?

Can you accommodate allergies or ingredients I cannot eat?

We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Some requests may be difficult depending on the course, so please let us know when making your reservation.

Can I order additional items after my course?

Additional orders are available while ingredients last. We also offer a daily selection of à la carte items.

How long does a meal take?

Dining time varies depending on the course and the pace of service that day. If you have a time constraint, please let us know when making your reservation or when you arrive.

Children & Your Visit

Are children welcome?

UEHARA welcomes guests aged 10 and above. HACHIMAN has no age restriction (but a child must be able to sit through the dining experience without an iPad or other electronic devices that make sounds).

Neither location offers a children’s menu. Children are generally expected to enjoy a meal comparable to an adult portion.

Can you assist guests in English?

Yes. English-language guidance is available. At UEHARA, our second-generation chef presents Ken’s Omakase for international guests on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Is there a dress code?

There is no specific dress code. We kindly ask that you avoid strong fragrances, as they can affect the aroma of the sushi and other guests’ dining experience.

Photography & Video

May I take photos or videos?

Photos are welcome, but please keep them brief and discreet.

Sushi is at its best as soon as it is served. We encourage you to enjoy your meal first and to be considerate of other guests. Please contact the restaurant in advance if you would like to take videos or need more time for photography.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

UEHARA accepts cash, major credit cards, electronic payments, and QR-code payments.

HACHIMAN is cashless only and does not accept cash.
